Tele-Skier Profile: Denise Abdoo

Ms. Denise Abdoo is a 100 percent Ski-Holiday-blooded veteran. She hails from Denver, Colorado, where she works as a pediatric nurse practitioner in Emergency Medicine and Trauma at The Children's Hospital. Denise is a flexitarian which means she only eats flexi, a flexible, fibrous, organic foodstuff which I bet is made by Kashi and sold at places like Loving Hut .

Boarder Profile: Chris Blizzard

Mr. Chris Blizzard joins us again, this time from the Left Coast, California. Mr. Blizzard is a Johns Hopkins alumnus, lives in San Jose, and is enjoying law student life. He began snowboarding in 8th grade while living in Japan. Fun facts: Chris saw Arnold Schwarzenegger on his last visit to Sun Valley. We hope Chris' last name breeds good snow fortune for us in March, as it did for us in Austria .

Skier Profile: Kim Lamb

Ms. Kimberly "Kim" Lamb is 4th-year Ski Holiday caliber, joining the group from Boston where she works research contracts for big pharma. A native of Massachusetts, she did a stint in the Midwest for grad school that extended into 13 yrs of living the good life. Kim maintained her varsity stripes with ease last year in St. Anton Austria, and we look forward to her enthusiasm again this year.

Skier Profile: Mary Suter

Mrs. Mary Suter is yet another greenhorn to Ski Holiday, bringing much enthusiasm and a fun-loving spirit to the team. She joins us from Arlington Massachusetts. Outside of her work at a Boston real estate research firm Mary enjoys the indoors and the outdoors. Mary is from the Boston area and attended Hamilton College.

Boarder Profile: Dave Suter

Mr. Dave Suter is a first time Holidayer bringing a contagious giggle to the team. He joins us from Arlington Massachusetts. Outside of his work at a Boston area software company, Dave enjoys biking and hiking. Dave is from the DC area and attended Virginia Tech.

Skier Profile: Becca Lamb

Ms. Rebecca "Becca" Lamb is also a return Holidayer, coming off our 2009 adventure to the Great White North. Ms. Lamb joins us from Marblehead Massachusetts, where she works out of home and from the road, managing clinical trials for big pharma. When Becca is not poring over data, documents, protocols, and processes, she enjoys cabins in Maine, cross-country skiing, and gardening sans pruning. Becca is from the Portland Maine area, and attended Trinity College in Hartford. And she is always smiling.

Tele-Skier Profile: Mark Auclair

Mr. Mark Auclair showed us what it takes to do Ski Holiday right in Kicking Horse and Lake Louise Resorts in 2009. Now he's back. Mr. Auclair is IT when it comes to IT; he is an applications analyst in Boston, expressing himself in SQL, XML, JSP, UNIX, and other languages that mean little to the common desktop user. When Mark is not analyzing applications, you might find him in his Marblehead MA basement building chairs from scrap..or on the Singer mending windsurfing sails or sewing wheelbags from old bike tubes..or on the couch tying monkey fists — he'll make you one upon special request.
